Hi, welcome to the Salt Lake City UX Book Club!
A UX (User Experience) Book Club is a get-together in which people interested in the area of user experience come to discuss a book relevant to the discipline.
This Book Club will operate as follows:
Everyone who attends should try and read the nominated book (you won't be barred from entry, but it helps everyone get more out of the night);
Everyone needs to jot down and bring along: 2 things in the book that really struck a chord; and 1 thing they either hated, disagreed with; or don't understand.
The book will be within the practice of user experience.
The book will not be arduous to read!
Next Month's book will be announced at the current meeting.
This book club is coordinated by Jessica Petersen, Google Profile.
Event updates will also be posted via IxDA Utah
Pick one book and come prepared to discuss it, as well as learn from the people who read the other book.
Jot down and bring along:
2 things in the posts that really struck a chord;
1 thing you either hated, disagreed with; or don't understand.
Select next book: I'll be bringing a stack of choices with me for you to flip through. If you have any, bring it along.
